MA Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD)
MCAD is the independent state agency that enforces MA anti-discrimination laws by investigating complaints of discrimination in employment, housing, public accommodations, and other aspects of everyday life. Additionally, MCAD offers remdial and preventative training, and publishes resources online such as model policies, posters, and guides.
The Commission is an independent state agency that advises others in state governments on effective policies, programs, and resources for LGBTQ youth.
MA Department of Children & Families (DCF) LGBTQIA+ and Foster Care resources:
The task force is a church ministry who welcomes LGBTQ people of all faith traditions as they provide housing, food, and connections to legal, educational, medical, and mental health resourcees at other local agencies.

Mass Trans Political Coalition (MTPC)
MPTC works to ensure the wellbeing, safety, and lived equity of all trans, nonbinary, and gender expansive community members in Massachusetts.
The only queer youth organization in Springfield, MA, Out Now provides a safe space for queer youth & allies who are age 22 and under to learn about themselves, develop lasting friendships and leadership skills, explore LGBTQ+ history, and so much more.

Sexual Minorities Archives (SMA)
The SMA is a project of the Sexual Minorities Educational Foundation (SMEF) and is one of the oldest and largest archival collections of LGBTQIA+ books, historical documents, media, art, textiles, and artifacts in the world and is located in Holyoke, MA.
UMass Amherst's Stonewall Center's list of LGBTQIA+ resources, including hotlines, support groups, national organizations, links for youth, legal help, religious groups, and much more.
A survivor-led, social justice organization that works to end partner abuse in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, kink, polyamorous, and queer communities. Rooted in anti-oppression principles, our work aims to create a world where all people are free from oppression. We strengthen our communities through organizing, education, and the provision of support services.
Provides access without stigma, which means meeting people were they are at and respecting their choices while providing healthcare, support services, and education for safer practices.

The MA affiliate of the national ACLU, they are a private, nonpartisan organization who remain a nationwide leader in defense of civil rights and civil liberties.

AVP empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and HIV-affected communities and allies to end all forms of violence through organizing and education, and supports survivors through counseling and advocacy.
Asexuality Visibility and Education Network (AVEN)
The Asexual Visibility and Education Network hosts the world's largest online asexual community and archive of resources on asexuality.
COLAGE (Children of Lesbians and Gays Everywhere)

Consortium of Higher Education LGBT Resource Professionals
The consortium is a member-based organization working towards the liberation of LGBTQ people in higher education.

Trans Student Educational Resources
A youth-led organization dedicated to transforming the educational environment for trans and gender non-conforming students through advocacy and empowerment. Founded in 2011, it is the only national organization led by trans youth.
Trans Youth Equality Foundation (TYEF)
TYEF provides education, advocacy and support for transgender, nonbinary and gender non-conforming children and youth and their families. Our mission is to share information about the unique needs of this community, partnering with families, educators and service providers to help foster a healthy, caring, and safe environment for all children we serve.
The largest national trans-led organization advocating self-determination for all people. Since 2002, we've been organizing, assisting, informing and empowering thousands of individual community members towards a long-term, national, trans-led movement for liberation.
WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health)
Formerly known as the Harry Benjamin International Gender Dysphoria Association (HBIGDA), is a nonprofit, interdisciplinary professional and educational organization devoted to transgender health. Their mission is to promote evidence-based care, education, research, public policy, and respect in transgender health.
